About the event
Come on down to the farm and shop at our yard sale while benefitting Urban Roots!
While the sale is on Saturday, October 21st from 9am to 2pm, if you would like to contribute items to our sale, you can drop them off between 9am and 4pm on Friday, October 20th. We reserve the right to decline any items that are brought to us. Please see below for the list of items we will and will not accept.
Items we will accept:
- Clothing
- Books
- Kitchenware
- Bedding and linens
- Home decor
- Housewares and small appliances
- Jewlery
- Movies, music, and media
- Purses, bags, and luggage
- Shoes
- Sporting goods
- Toys and games
- Tools
Items we will not accept, include but are not limited to:
- Large appliances
- Blinds
- Building supplies
- Carpet
- Doors and door frames
- Fencing
- Plumbing fixtures
- Furnaces/wall heaters
- Garbage disposals
- Water heaters
- Batteries
- Car parts
- Guns, firearms, and ammunition
- Insecticides, paint, or other toxic materials
- Propane tanks
- Hospital beds
- Mattresses
- Entertainment centers
- Office machines and copiers
- Satellite dishes
- Swing sets
- Baby items: cribs, car seats, strollers
- Items that are no longer in functioning condition
- Hazardous materials of any kind
