Family Friendly Reno Garden Education

Bring your preschooler for hands-on, outdoor learning! Story time, planting, harvesting, and sensory discovery are just a few of the activities you will experience alongside your child. Garden-based education is fantastic for imaginative learning  and getting your hands dirty!

What is the age range for participants?

Students 2-4 years old may participate.

Where does Little Gardeners take place?

All of our programming is located at our Urban Teaching Farm (1700 E 2nd Street in Reno). 

When does the program run?

It is from 9-11am on one Thursday and one Friday per month. We run this program in the spring, summer and fall. We close the program during the winter months.

How much does it cost?

Tuition is $25 per student. 
 

What equipment should I bring?

Dress to be outside all morning! It will also be helpful to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat and closed toe shoes.
